‘Lost Pier’ by Julie French, 2014, 50 x 50cm Mixed Media Textiles
I took inspiration from Julie French’s use of continuous line in her textiles work , I used this when applying my thread to the patchwork quilt , I wanted my still life piece to be more free on my quilt and look more hand drawn , I also used a darker thread like French does.
